WHAT WE BELIEVE
THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
JESUS CAME TO EARTH AND LIVED A PERFECT SINLESS LIFE.
HE WAS CRUCIFIED EVEN THOUGH HE WAS COMPLETELY INNOCENT.
HE RECEIVEDTHE PUNISHMENT THAT WE DESERVED.
HE WAS PUT INTO OUR PLACE AND TOOK ON HIMSELF THE SENTENCE OF DEATH THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN OURS. (ROMANS 5:8)
AFTER THREE DAYS, HE ROSE FROM THE GRAVE AND LATER ASCENDED INTO HEAVEN.​​
HE WILL RETURN FOR ALL THOSE WHO ARE TRUSTING IN HIM AS THEIR SAVIOR.
Jesus can hear you now if you ask Him for forgiveness. Please turn your life over to Him NOW. The Bible tells us that "Now is the day of Salvation!"
If you want to pray and ask Jesus to be your Savior, you can say a prayer something like this:
"Jesus, I know that I have sinned against you. I know that I have sinned by my own choice. I am the one responsible for my sin. I know that I have earned punishment from You and that the fair punishment would be death. Jesus, I believe that You died in my place. Forgive me for my sin. I cannot cover or take my sin away, I am relying only on You. You are the only one who can save me. I reject my sin, I turn away from my sin, and I repent. Come into my life, take away my sin, and show me how to live my life in a way that is right and pleasing to You."

GOD THE FATHER
We believe in God the Father, Creator of heaven and earth, perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom and measureless in power. We rejoice that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
(Matthew 5:48; Genesis 1:1; Hebrews 11:3; Nehemiah 9:6; Hebrews 1:2-3; Psalm 103:19; Ephesians 1:11; 1 Kings 8:27; Psalm 90:2).
GOD THE SON
We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, sinless in His life, who made atonement for the sin of the world by His shed blood and death on the cross. We believe in His bodily resurrection, His ascension into heaven, and His high priestly intercession for His people. We believe in His personal, visible and triumphant return to the world according to His promise.

GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from God to convict the world of sin, to convince the world of righteousness, of judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower those who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe the Holy Spirit dwells in every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of all Biblical gifts of the Spirit.

I Corinthians 12:13; II Thessalonians 2:13;
I Peter 1:1-3).
THE BIBLE
We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments fully inspired by God, inerrant in the original writings, and that they are the supreme and final authority in faith and life.
(IITimothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:19-21; Acts 17:11; Isaiah 8:20).
MAN
We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred, not only physical death, but also spiritual death which is separation from God; and that all human beings are sinners by nature and by choice. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting, conscious punishment of the lost.

SALVATION

MEET THE PASTOR
PASTOR BRAD JENSEN
Pastor Brad Jensen is the founding pastor of Calvary Chapel Coolidge. In 2007, Brad answered God's call to plant a church in Coolidge, Arizona, where he faithfully served and shepherded the congregation for six years.
Before entering full-time ministry, Brad worked as an airline pilot, a career that provided unique experiences and opportunities while preparing him for God's greater calling on his life. His passion for teaching God's Word and making disciples eventually led him to leave aviation and pursue ministry full-time.
After six years of pastoring Calvary Chapel Coolidge, Brad and his wife, Amy, followed another call from the Lord and moved to the Cayman Islands to plant a Calvary Chapel church. Their heart for church planting, missions, and reaching people with the gospel continued to shape their ministry during their time overseas.
In 2018, God opened the door for Brad to return and once again serve as pastor of Calvary Chapel Coolidge, where he continues to teach the Bible verse by verse and lead the church family with a heart for discipleship, worship, and the word of God.
Brad and Amy have been married for nearly 25 years and are blessed with three children. Brad continues to work full time in the aviation industry while pastoring CC Coolidge.
