WHAT WE BELIEVE...

We believe in One God…
Eternally existing in three Persons: FATHER, SON, and HOLY SPIRIT. Equal in power and
glory; that this trisune God created all, upholds all and governs all. (I John 5:7)

God the Father…
We believe in God the Father, Creator of heaven and earth, perfect in holiness, infinite in
wisdom and measureless in power. We rejoice that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs
of men, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to
Him through Jesus Christ (Matthew 5:48; Genesis 1:1; Hebrews 11:3; Nehemiah 9:6; Hebrews
1:2-3
; Psalm 103:19; Ephesians 1:11; 1 Kings 8:27; Psalm 90:2).

God the Son…
We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the
Virgin Mary, sinless in His life, who made atonement for the sin of the world by His shed blood
and death on the cross. We believe in His bodily resurrection, His ascension into heaven, and His
high priestly intercession for His people. We believe in His personal, visible and triumphant
return to the world according to His promise. (Isaiah 9:6; Matthew 1:18-25; John 1:14; Hebrews
10:9
; John 1:29; I John 2:1-2; John 14:3; I Thessalonians 4:15-17; Acts 1:11).

God the Holy Spirit…
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from God to convict the world of sin, to convince
the world of righteousness, of judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower those who
believe in Jesus Christ. We believe the Holy Spirit dwells in every believer in Jesus Christ and
that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy
Spirit and in the exercise of all Biblical gifts of the Spirit. (John 15:26, 16:8-11; Romans 6:3-6; I
Corinthians 12:13
; II Thessalonians 2:13; I Peter 1:1-3).

The Bible…

We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments fully inspired by God, inerrant in
the original writings, and that they are the supreme and final authority in faith and life (II
Timothy 3:16-17
; II Peter 1:19-21; Acts 17:11; Isaiah 8:20).

Man…
We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred, not
only physical death, but also spiritual death which is separation from God; and that all human
beings are sinners by nature and by choice. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and
the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting, conscious punishment of
the lost (Genesis 1:27, 2:15-17; Romans 3:10-12, 23; Matthew 25:46).

Salvation…
We believe that, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). We believe that all who
receive, by faith, Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord are born again of the Holy Spirit and, therefore,
become children of God. We believe that justification means that a person is declared righteous
in the sight of God by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone (John 1:12; Romans 3:21-
26
; Ephesians 1:13, 2:8-10).

The Church…
We believe in the Church. A living, spiritual body in which Christ is the Head and of which all
believers in Jesus are members. We believe the purpose of the church is to lead believers toward
maturity through the Word, fellowship, prayer, and communion. Christ has also committed to the
church the responsibility to proclaim to a lost world their need to accept Jesus Christ as Savior
and to recognize Him has Lord. We believe that Jesus has committed to the local church the
ordinances of Baptism and Communion, open to all believers, to be observed until He comes.
(Ephesians 1:22-23; Acts 2:42; Romans 6:4; Acts 2:28; Matthew 28:19, Luke 22:19; I Corinthians
11:24
).

KNOW GOD

Our greatest desire is for people to know God personally. God created us and loves us very much. (Genesis 1:1) He gave us life and desires to have a relationship with us. However, all of us have done wrong and failed to do what is right. (Romans 3:23) Have you ever lied to someone? Thought impure thoughts? Taken something that wasn't yours? Hated anyone? If you have, you have sinned, just like everyone who has ever lived. We are all guilty before God. (1 John 1:8) God is perfect, and therefore sin keeps us from knowing Him. The Bible says, "the wages of sin is death." (Romans 6:23) This means that the payment for our sin is spiritual death.

Jesus came to earth and lived a perfect sinless life. He was crucified even though He was completely innocent. He received the punishment that we deserved. He was put into our place and took on Himself the sentence of death that should have been ours. (Romans 5:8) After three days, He rose from the grave and later ascended into heaven. He will return for all those who are trusting in Him as their Savior.

Jesus died for you. If you are willing to repent of your sin, He is waiting to forgive you. It doesn't matter what you have done in the past; He will not reject you. The word "repent" literally means to turn away from. Simply look at your life, admit that you are a sinner, and genuinely desire to turn your back on sin, and ask Him to forgive you. If you do this, He promises to forgive you.

Being a Christian means that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Jesus can hear you now if you ask Him for forgiveness. Please turn your life over to Him NOW. The Bible tells us that "Now is the day of Salvation!" If you want to pray and ask Jesus to be your Savior,

you can say a prayer something like this:

"Jesus, I know that I have sinned against you. I know that I have sinned by my own choice. I am the one responsible for my sin. I know that I have earned punishment from You and that the fair punishment would be death. Jesus, I believe that You died in my place. Forgive me for my sin. I cannot cover or take my sin away, I am relying only on You. You are the only one who can save me. I reject my sin, I turn away from my sin, and I repent. Come into my life, take away my sin, and show me how to live my life in a way that is right and pleasing to You."

If you prayed that prayer, let us know! We would love to get you a Bible so that you can begin to learn about Jesus and His plan for your life. It is also important to find a church that you can fellowship in.
